Enjoy over 22 Ha of open scenic pastures on a vintage carriage ride through the stable yard and paddock grounds. Top off the afternoon country-outing by bringing a picnic and finding a spot along the river bank or next to one of the horse paddocks to enjoy the remainder of a leisurely afternoon. Alternatively, book a table at any of the country restaurants below, all within a 10 minute drive from the grounds.

Carriage rides are 20 min long in the traditional country driving Hunting Break carriage (if you are lucky enough to have Maureen driving you, you will also be accompanied by two Dalmatians) which takes place on the Terrouges Equestre property. Carriage rides can be booked on either the 2nd or 4th Sunday of every month. Times from midday to sunset are available, please let us know your preferred time. Tickets are available at R800 per couple.
