About us...
Terrouges Equestre, located in Pretoria East, offers stabling and supports a variety of equestrian disciplines, including dressage, show jumping, showing and carriage driving and offers lessons in these disciplines. Terrouges Equestre was founded in 1988 when Maureen Beyers started a humble equestrian centre in the in order to fulfill her passion for horses. From a humble barn and longeing ring, Terrouges Equestre has grown from strength to strength and now boasts one of the best equestrian facilities around. All buildings and arenas are according to FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale) standards and we pride ourselves in "doing it correctly, from the very beginning".
Regular clinics with outside instructors are hosted, ranging from overseas or across provincial borders. Competitive, non-competitive riders and carriage-drivers welcome! Terrouges Equestre has a riding school with poines of all levels able to teach beginners and children from a young age up through the levels. Resident riders also offer backing of horses or ponies as well as training your horse in a specific discipline.

LESSONS CATER FOR ALL LEVELS OF RIDERS, FROM BEGINNERS TO ADVANCED
Terrouges Equestre, in Pretoria East, offers horse riding in dressage, show jumping, showing, equitation and carriage driving. We cater for riders of all ages and levels of experience. Terrouges Equestre has four qualified in-house instructors and regularly hosts clinics presented by local and international riders.
Individual as well as group lessons are offered. Competitive and non - competitive riders are welcome. Terrouges Equestre also offers training or schooling for your horse or pony in dressage, showing and show jumping disciplines.
Lessons are usually an hour long (55 minutes in winter). This includes saddling up and grooming of the pony, until the child is confident and able to do it on their own before the start of their lesson.
All our instructors are SANIP qualified (with a first-aid qualification) or trainees for their exams, as we try to maintain a high standard of tuition and the children's safety is of utmost importance to us.

Carriages and classic cars have been a passion for the Beyers-family for 3 generations and these family heirlooms continue to delight visitors and enthusiasts alike. The car collection comprises a 1966 Ford Cortina, 1969 Austin Healy Sprite, 1969 Caterham Lotus 7, 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster and 1973 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.
